After, receiving an art degree from Penn State in 1972 and a Masters in Metal Arts in 1978, Sharon Teaman went on to teach 3D art and jewelry crafting for 10 years. Even with a busy show roster, she continues to apprentice Penn State students.
Sharon combines handmade wax carving techniques with computer design tools to scale new frontiers in jewelry design. She’s always looking for extraordinary museum-quality stones to create spectacular one-of-a-kind pieces.
She fulfills many custom orders of heirloom pieces that honor her clients’ loved ones.
Her work has appeared at New York’s Couture Fashion Week and is treasured by many luminaries and private collectors.
Sharon often partners with her daughter, Chloe Alpert, also a trained gemologist, to create one-of-a-kind jewelry designs. She keeps a digital archive of all pieces sold with appraised value and photos.
