Scott Supraner earned a BFA in sculpture at the State University of New York at Purchase and went on to work with sculptors Mary Frank and Alan Siegel. In 1989, he moved to the Shenandoah Valley where he established Hawksbill Pottery. Later, he relocated again to Charlottesville, VA and joined the McGuffey Art Center.
Scott uses his skills as a painter, sculptor and potter to craft original ceramic wall reliefs from textured interlocking tiles.
He has created commissioned work for the Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. His artwork is also featured at the National Institutes of Health in Washington, DC, the Heart and Vascular Center in Waynesboro, VA and the Aquilino Cancer Center in Rockville, MD.
