As a child growing up in Rhode Island, Eric Sturtevant watched countless hours of Saturday morning cartoons. While watching Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry and Woody Woodpecker, he became fascinated with the artistry involved in creating these animated characters.
He realized that while these cartoons represented tremendous artistic talent, they were also much more because of the way they could touch the viewer’s heart and make them laugh.
As he establishes his own distinct style, Eric seeks to imbue his images with the same childlike spirit to appeal to children and adults alike.
When not traveling to art and craft shows, Eric still lives in Rhode Island where he draws inspiration from his family and the always entertaining Saturday morning cartoons.
