Nataliya Strumila opened Art Island Shop more than seven years ago as a jewelry maker. Since then, she has traveled up and down the East Coast showcasing her work. Her eye-catching handmade jewelry ranges from very feminine, with delicate stainless steel filigree and pink beads, to jaw dropping, such as a butterfly-shaped filigree necklace accented with beautiful gemstones. Nataliya also designs jewelry holders for girls and teens shaped like butterflies, trees and even a rhinoceros and a zebra. Her selection of handmade scarves is also very popular thanks to their versatility and lightweight fabric. Nataliya, whose work is inspired by nature, has two daughters, who, along with her husband, help her exhibit her pieces at various shows. Nataliya’s parents are also involved in this true family business, and have created their own works for sale. Stop by and meet the talented Sturmilia family and browse Art Island’s beautiful selection of accessories.
