Randal Spangler’s memories of his small town childhood fuel his artistic work today. He is known as the creator of colorful, storybook images filled with Victorian homes, castles, wizards, dragons, fairies and such.
After a stint in the U.S. Navy, he enrolled at Kansas City Art Institute. Since the start of his career in 1977, he has participated in over 1000 art shows and Renaissance fairs, receiving countless awards for his imaginative drawings.
Randal’s magical illustrations captivate people of all ages and have been licensed for use on jigsaw puzzles, cross stitch patterns, murals and wall paper. His work has appeared at the Museum of Art and Whimsy in Sarasota, FL, the Children's Illustrated Art Museum in St. Louis and at many other venues.
