Alisa Ryan majored in metalsmithing and CAD/CAM design at the Tyler School of Art and then found work with a few New York jewelry companies. When her son was born she became a stay at home mom. After her daughter came along, she resumed her earlier passions for sewing, crocheting and knitting and began making a line of plush children’s toys and dolls.
When her husband suggested she find new outlets to sell her work, she started Made With Luck. With 2 small children to care for, she was lucky to find any time for creative work. As her children have grown, her family encourages and supports her in her business.
