As a child, Beverly Robillard observed her father making various woodworking projects. She learned how to use many woodworking tools by watching him and peppering him with questions.
He passed away before she started turning wood herself, but she thinks of him often when she is turning.
All of her work is one-of-a-kind since she likes to constantly explore new designs. She gets a lot of her raw material from trees downed in storms. More intricate designs are made from pre-cut planks of wood.
Stop by during Sugarloaf Crafts Festival for a peek at her original designs.
