Knob Hall Winery sits at the base of Fairview Mountain in the Cumberland Valley of Western Maryland. Using sustainable agriculture practices, Knob Hall makes award-winning wines with grapes grown on their 43-acre vineyards.
Their grape varietals, all carefully selected for compatibility with the terroir of the region, include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chambourcin, Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Albarino, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Traminette, Vidal Blanc and Viognier.
Knob Hall won three Gold Medals and Best in Class in the Maryland Governor’s Cup Competition and scored gold medals in several other events too.
At their estate in Clear Springs, MD, Knob Hall hosts music festivals, fundraisers, wine tastings and private events. They invite visitors to tour their vineyard and winery.
