Kim LaPrete runs Baker’s Bounty, an independent bakery in Linden, NJ serving freshly baked breads.
Kim still follows the same homemade recipes and fresh baked standards her father, Jim LaPrete, used when he founded the bakery over 40 years ago.
Her father was a pioneer in the movement to support small farms and a proponent of sustainable and fair trade ingredients. Like him, she buys the bread flour, eggs, dairy products, produce, herbs and maple syrup used in her bread from local farmers in New York and New Jersey.
