Donna and Gerry Keener make original handcrafted glass jewelry with dichroic glass and 22 K gold. Dichroic glass has an amazing shimmering effect due to the light passing through multiple layers. Their pieces are hand-cut and kiln-fired to at least 1400℉.
Donna earned a BFA at Goshen College in Indiana and started the jewelry making business right away. Her husband and sister work alongside her from their home studio in rural Pennsylvania.
They’re inspired by the peaceful countryside and the surrounding Amish community. When not running their jewelry business, they tend to their miniature donkey, Beau, and their many cats, chickens, geese and Guinea hen.
