Chitsanzo Isaac decided early on that she was going to live the life of an artist. At the suggestion of a high school teacher in her native Malawi, she earned a degree in architecture but after almost a decade in that field, her artwork was calling her back.
She makes handmade jewelry and accessories using bold African print cotton fabrics.
Running BhoFro Design rewards her with much more than creative satisfaction. She is also gratified to be able to share the beautiful, bold African fabrics of her Malawian culture and to help Malawian farmers and workers earn a sustainable living.
