Robin Gower makes intricately patterned beaded jewelry and accessories using Japanese and Czech seed beads, Austrian crystals, freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones and handmade and blown glass. As a retired professor of medieval history, she draws inspiration from European and Russian royalty of long ago. She also incorporates Celtic, Viking and Egyptian designs.
Robin was a winner in Bead & Button Magazine’s 2017 Design Challenge with her bead-embroidered collar embedded with labradorite cabochon. Her goal in creating is to make the most exquisite piece she can possibly make with the best quality stones and beads. Though this approach is time-consuming, Robin wouldn’t have it any other way. She is passionate about her work and is constantly looking for opportunities to expand. Come take a look at her incredibly ornate designs at Sugarloaf Crafts Festival.
