Prior to her current photography career, Carolyn Copper worked for the federal government for over 25 years, 16 of them with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Concern for wildlife and the environment as a whole is central to work as a photographer. As a supporter of ethical photography, Carolyn obtains her photographs of the natural world without causing any damage to the environment or stress to wildlife.
She recognizes the animals she photographs as extraordinary creatures with tremendous capacity to comfort and heal the human spirit, especially after traumatic experiences.
